There's an elegance in the use of OL's photo.

Says Mission Accomplished, but the war isn't over yet. :v:

And Gene gets the gold sticker for seeing exactly what I was getting at. =P

How do you know that the campaign didn't coincidentally begin right before a pre-planned announcement? Is agency real?

Well, judging by the words of the Sega representative in the Sega Central video on YouTube, it sounded as if they were only willing to confirm it was coming to the EU as they had received the question from multiple people, which may have been a nod to our campaign. We don't know for certain that the campaign is the cause that generated this response, but receiving a positive response in any way or form is considered a success in my opinion.

SEGA Europe currently has no plans to bring over 7th Dragon III.

Also they consider Atlus an independent label from Sega so they're going to continue to not bring over their games.

I'm glad that somebody else watches these so that I don't have to. They all hurt so bad.

So if 7th Dragon's already been localised for the West with the imminent US release, I don't get why they can't support a digital-only, limited-language release in Europe if they're not sure about sales. The biggest chunk of the work has already been done. Would it really be costly to get the job finished?

SEGA Europe doing some damage control.

Funny how they're saying that they're interested instead of actually committing to publish their own games.

I already made a thread for this, but it sounds like we won't have to bother with this campaign anymore. Deep Silver is now going to be publishing Atlus' and Sega's games in Europe: http://forums.sonicr...showtopic=35633

Sega Europe announced that they're releasing Project Diva X in Europe on August 30th... as digital only.

Ugh. Well that's depressing =/ You'd have thought if it was getting a physical release in the US it'd make sense to match that here.

Sega Europe is going to announce the European release date for 3D Classics Collection this Friday on a live stream.

Kinda seems like a bad idea to do this live while letting people ask them questions. I imagine people aren't too happy with them taking so long, and it'd be especially bad if it's a digital only release.

Kudos to everyone who participated in this campaign! It looks like it had quite the effect on Sega Europe. The results are just astonishing.

Not really tbh.

Sega Europe is still terrible at releasing games here. The only thing that we likely affected was an incredibly late release of 3D Classics Collection that we still know nothing about aside from "it's coming", and a digital-only release of Project Diva X. They're still so unwilling to publish non-PC or mobile games here that Sega America had to get a different publisher to release the majority of their games in Europe.

Would be really nice if this included all the games from the Japanese volumes 1 and 2, rather than just renaming #2 but... yeah, better than nothing.

Ah okay. Thanks for the correction - guess this campaign only had minimal impact. I just thought with all the positive news posts that we were having an effect.
