What does Sega of America do exactly? I can't find a straight answer anywhere.

I'm going to San Francisco during the holidays to visit my newly-Californian brother with my family. Having never been to the area, I thought it would be cool to see Sega's offices there, at least from the outside. It dawned on me recently that I cannot think of any sort of game development happening Stateside from Sega these days. So, does anyone know if they have any games in the works, or are they just a publisher and marketer for their Japaneses counterparts?

Wasn't the new remake of Sonic CD co-developed by SOA or did I misunderstand something?
And IIRC they are responsible for providing english voice actors (maybe french and spanish as well?).

That wasn't the question — the question was whether or not he was doing it solo =P
But yes, Sega of America really ... doesn't have much developing power anymore, if not also publishing power. I think the most radical of changes was done recently actually =P Your call on whether or not this is for the better :/

Chu Chu Rocket for Android is from them?
If yes I need to thank them.
My Android is a very crappy model, so no good games, but Chu Chu Rocket runs on it without any problems, they saved my long train daily boring trips. (At least for some time...)
And it's very cheap 80 cents (in Euro)!

The iOS version says it was ported by Binary Hammer; I don't know what logo appears at the beginning of the Android version. But SOA probably either approved the development or pushed the release to the respective marketplaces, if that counts =P

Hey Ruby if you're reading this we'd all support a multiplatform release of Chu Chu Rocket.

They take decent games, change all the palettes, half the graphics, remove any gay people and completely fuck the story so it makes little to no sense.
oh and they suck cocks, lots and lots of cocks.
oh and they suck cocks, lots and lots of cocks.
