I pixelated this logo recently, and thought I'd share it: No particular reason of course... Just thought it'd be cool to do so~
Wow I really like the look of that! One suggestion though, could there be an option for a grid view? The only other thing I could think of would be a transparent overlay for where yellow spheres would send you when launched. Otherwise top looking work!
I will definitely have a grid option, but I'm not sure about yellow spheres, because 1, I'm using an 8bpp rendering system that doesn't allow for transparent overlays, and 2, having arrows sticking out in all four directions from every yellow sphere could be very confusing.
Maybe a black and transparent checkboard (so semitransparency, yes!) that would indicate landing zone for selected spring ball?
Hah, I remember Gerbil making an editor that looked very similar to that years ago. Nice to see a utility that's made with a modern toolset though!
Maybe have it show launch distance in all four directions only when your mouse is hovered over it? That'd make the most sense, I think, without it being obtrusive.
