If there's any reason I hate the tech members, it's because they get to have a lounge and enjoy snippets like that before everyone else.

And by hate, obviously I mean intense jealousy. Marvelous stuff there. I've gotta second Afti though. Is this a bonafide model swap? If so, how was it done?

Aw well. Soon, there will be model swaps. Atleast I hope so.

If we're making the level tiles better, I'd like to see the tiles in Splash Hill Zone Act 3 actually look like they're bathed in the light of the setting sun and not just look like they've just been overlayed with a transparent peach fill.

I like how some of you have already progressed Sonic 4 hacking well beyond Sonic 3 hacking >_>

While we're at it, can we change Sonic's jumping spin to be the same as his rolling spin?

This is an absolute must. Uncurling in the air is incredibly annoying.

Not only that but, he curls into a perfect ball while rolling but not while jumping. It looks weird.

The main thing that really affects me while playing is how often Sonic comes to a screeching halt. It's like riding in a fast car and having the driver slam on the brakes over and over. I expect fluidity from my Sonic games. There's a spring in Casino Street that illustrates this really well: If you run full on into it, Sonic bounces back obviously. If you let go of the controller at that point, he slides a couple inches away from the spring and just stands there. If you hit the d pad the opposite direction when he is bounced off the spring, he skids all the way across the screen.

Why the fuck would exerting no effort at all cause Sonic to come to a sudden stop? Why does he only have momentum when you are pressing a direction?

I seriously fucking love how we bitched about the new characters and green eyed sonic, yet you fucks still say shit like this. Especially when they tried so hard to please us by not putting any of these characters in. This why we get the steamy piles of shit we do.

On topic, another thing that really bugs me is when you're super sonic and you get a shield, it shows up...

Remember though bro, there was something of a division regarding that. Half of the base likes all the characters, and the other half just wants sonic. The latter half has been REALLY loud for years and have finally been catered to. It's just that they've been doing it for so long now that the former half is starting to feel neglected.

It's a really tricky balancing attack that has to be done. Both sides CAN be pleased, but not at the same time.

To get off of this topic..

Could we could get a Wii port of the physics fixes anytime soon? Because going through all the worry to get a JTAG'd 360 is quite tedious and money wasting.

Trunks, your edited Sonic has so much more personality and charm than the official one. Probably because I can see that tiny smirk in yours. Awesome.

Er, the face in the HD versions is plenty expressive, it's only the Wii version that lacks personality. You know, because it has a permanent little Sharpie smile.

Honestly, the only time the official model's expression bugs me is during the ending sequence, if he does that "epic pose" without turning into Super Sonic. It's like, the one time Modern Sonic should have an "awwww yeaaaah" expression, he doesn't. >_>

I hope that the level changes won't be too extensive. Sonic 4 needs a tweak, not a massive overhaul.

Hahahahah, good joke.

But no really, the level layouts is what pissed me off the most, it's like Dimps got a retarded man who was also blind to click around the screen randomly to place the level tiles around. It's just 6000000 convex curves, and dashpads shooting you into shit and then homing attacking over pits. It's not fun in the slightest to me because of that. I'll be changing layouts the most of anything in the game for sure.

Convex curves can go and I wouldn't miss them. One gratuitous speed section is as good as another, in my book.

What I believe Aerosol was referring to are the level sections that you actually play.
