I did in fact notice that. There were some levels absent though, like the supposedly DLC Casino Night... maybe DLC doesn't count? And maybe the other levels shown are going to be in the 3DS version? Saw some Metropolis and Carnival Night and got a little excited.

Nice video, I like the stylised logos for all of the games in particular. I'd love to have wallpapers of those, if Sega care to release them. But goddamn, those dubbed-in ring sounds are so annoying. They just sound out of place and distracting.
Am I supposed to be seeing anything there besides white? Also, shouldn't this be in the Generations megathread?
Have you guys noticed any other differences between the Generations footage in here and the demo, besides the lives icon? Just wondering about this being earlier or more recent...

I like how they've mixed Egg Hawk and Live and Learn together. I'm a bit annoyed about the fact that they completely ignore Black Knight, but leave in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, which is arguably the worst game ever.
For what it's worth, here are the scores Famitsu rated Sonic 06: Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3, Sega): 8 / 7 / 7 / 7 - (29/40) Sonic The Hedgehog (Xbox 360, Sega): 8 / 7 / 7 / 8 - (30/40) They, however, gave Black Knight considerably less favorable reviews: 7,6,7,6 (26) So Sonic 06 was recieved more favorably than Black Knight, at least in the east. 8s and 7s aren't that bad of scores, there seems to have been a difference in how the east and the west reviewed this game respectively. Sonic 06 was a decent game if you ignore the glitches, though I'm absolutely pissed the true ending was excluded and we get the bad ending as the "canon" ending.
Did anybody notice... Does this mean that the Generations footage was very early? Or perhaps newer? The demo had the icon which we know now but that was dated May 2011.
Secret Rings' inclusion in this came off as sugarcoating by way of having the better received game (despite not being part of the "main" series) in there make it seem like the year 2006 wasn't a total loss for the franchise. On the whole though, still a great watch. Loved the logos. Wait, huh? I may be having a brain lapse at the moment, but what are you talking about here?
Time Holes have done the impossible. They failed to erase Sonic '06 whereas the game had the dignity to erase itself being the Big Lipped Alligator Game it was. Thus, the final story where Elise blows out the Flames of Disaster doesn't mean jack squat. Aside from that, that really put this franchise's game history in perspective.
I love the nice touch where the video pauses with Sonic tapping his feet. It signifies the end of Sonic games for Sega consoles, and the beginning of Sonic being on other consoles.
I love the giant, three-year gap between Heroes and '06; they seriously couldn't have thrown in Sonic Rush for 2005?
