Yeah I know what you mean, now there's almost absolutely no chance they'd make another sequel. sad.png Oh well, perhaps TJ&E is best left to the 16 bit consoles, kind of like Sonic...

Don't count out Toejam and Earl. The creator still has the license to them, and has been trying to find a publisher for a four-player DS game for awhile now.

FUNFACT: The fact that he still owns the license is partially the reason why Toejam and Earl weren't in the Sega All-stars games. He said Sega wasn't paying him enough to use their likenesses - he said the amount they offered was embarrassing.

He didn't mention that to me. sad.png

Your sarcasm implies that you want sauce.

Well, here you go. He's talked about it. Also, here's the info about TJ and E not being in Sega All Stars racing.

EDIT: Old articles are old, but eh.

I wasn't being sarcastic. :P I actually meant what I said.

When I asked him about the possibility of future games, he didn't say anything about a DS game. I believe it was "nothing in the works yet." (that was just a few months ago...)

......and it makes me very sad. sad.png

Ah, my bad then - most people aren't serious about that kinda thing.

It is a shame, really. I think the only real thing keeping publishers or developers from making a new one was that the characters and theme are too 90's.

Few things:

-The game is set so the last ship piece, no matter what, will always appear on level 25, so you would have to get through all 25 levels.
-If you hit the B button at the right time, you can use an item and keep the Total Bummer from killing you (if you have the correct present)
-Favorite Present- Promotion <3
-I hate the same enemies you do, but I also add in the lawn-mower guy. He can be a pain to try and get away from him without something to kick-start you.

I've never come across the same level twice in Random mode. Does anyone know the possibilities of finding the same level twice, if its even possible (it should be, right?)

Oh yeah, that lawn mower guy is a douche. I thought I encountered the same level twice, but maybe I'm wrong. It was that stupid level where there's a huge lake full of sharks and there's little pieces of land in it...

The promotion present is cool, I actually got the carrot man to identify one (I had two at the time) so I used it to go from Bro -> Homie then Homie > Rap Master specialed.png

Gasp, could it be that the people who claimed to have beat it in 12-15 levels were LYING?!? They must be!

True Dude: Sorry 'bout that, I edited my post...by the way it's been almost 20 years, how long to you plan to put off beating the games? :P

No, the real cunts are the War Geese and the Disappearing Ice Cream trucks.

Level I think 16 or so is nothing but those. And Monster Mailboxes. Those are cunts too.

This might work, just as long as we get a new 90's Nostalgia kick like we did with all of the retro 80's themed stuff several years ago. Besides, they are just aliens from a planet that looks a lot like ours did during the 90's.

Here is the (quite embarrassing) intro to the third game bytheway:

The character select raps that I like (sans Latisha's):

And here are some gameplay clips:

Aaaaand...The commercial:

Oh.... god...... what did they do to the franchise? I could not take more than 2 minutes of that opening video. Utterly AWFUL.

Same thing that Happened with Sonic, They were forced to "modernize". That, and bad writing.

The worst part was when every once in a while during a loading screen, there was some full length rap that would start up starring Latisha. That was the absolute worst thing. The character selection raps were enjoyable, though. In a bad way.

Earl's was the best out of the 3. Latisha, however... Why didn't they just use LeWanda or Peabo? Come on.

SEGA didn't give him enough time. I think some of Peabo's data is in the game, not sure. There were DLC characters but they were just re-skins of the current ones.
