Nice pics, guys. Glad you got a couple of the decals! I couldn't officially give permission for anyone to grab them, but if they just happened to disappear into the home of a fan instead of being thrown out...
We actually brought almost everything leftover back to SEGA. But I personally don't mind that some of it went into the homes of fans. That's no excuse to take stuff in the future, of course.
It's not truly a party until the club management is yelling at you as you sprint away laughing. That, and it was either take the decals or organize a heist of that classic Sonic statue. I think you guys got off easy.
You know what I would have liked to have seen (or rather, heard) at Sonic Boom? Actual Sonic music. Like, instead of the shitty generic stuff they played all night. I mean there's a ton of Sonic music to choose from, including a lot of actual dance music.
I'm pretty sure the DJ there worked for the Club. Still, always a good suggestion for someone bring in a DJ. Who knows, people would have flipped their lids if something like this spun up on the sound system.
Does anyone have the picture of Slingerland and myself that was taken? I want to see how short I look next to him.
I dunno about that, but I do have my photos finally uploaded. Feel free to see if you're in anything, everybody, and help me tag shit. :P Edit: Derp, links help.
Nice pictures Ink! As to the earlier discussion, the DJ was hired - not part of the club. But I think the feedback about mixing in more Sonic songs is good; it was one of the initial ideas and fell to the wayside as we finalized all the bigger elements. Sun - that Classic Sonic statue is heavier than it looks. But somehow I don't doubt a mass mob of retro members would find a way to make it disappear.
Yeah, I think it was more effective having the Sonic music in live show format rather than as part of the DJ's tracks. Daft Punk/Gorillaz/Club tracks were a-ok with me.
Nah, whoever took it was hanging out near the time attack thing Brad was in charge of. Hell, it might have even been Scarred Sun's camera.
