All this served to remind me is that AA batteries are going obsolete lmao.

That said TV remotes still gotta use those if I recall (tripple As anyway), so I guess Duracell's just more upset they're not mandatory anymore. Gotta wonder why they chose a game gear instead of a gameboy or another more popular toy.

Unless its precisely because the game gear requires 6 batteries :^)

Obsolete? I still use a load of AA batteries, I dunno what you're on about.

I still use lots of AA batteries... Wiimotes, my Game Boy Colour etc. But I mostly use rechargable ones now.

How did Sega let this one go ?

(also wasn't the 32X the one the miserably failed ? I thought the Sega CD was somewhat popular.)

Because it's the Sonic twitter and they poke fun at themselves and Sega all the time :v: Also I think it was more popular than the 32X but I think it still sold poorly. Must have sold well enough for them to consider the 32X a good idea though.

Anyway, I actually still own one. Now that Sonic CD has the Taxman port it doesn't do a whole lot these days, but it's neat to have, even if it is just an ornament.

The VAs of Sonic, Shadow, and Eggman answered questions from Twitter today. I'm surprised no one bothered to mention this here. Most of their replies are pretty entertaining imo. This one is my favorite:

Nah I noticed it yesterday but I'm waiting on a compilation video myself so I could hear them all at once.

If they reenacted the cutscenes from S3&K in that style, I would have no objections. <3
