Super Boy 4 MD?

Looks like the Master System game packaged in a Mega Drive cartridge.
I'd sure love it to have improvements (like getting rid of that horrible soundtrack) but I very much doubt that's the case.

The screens make this game look fun.
I'm therefore assuming this game is not fun in the slightest.

It's dumped as far as I know. Yeah, it's just a SMD game in an MD casing. Nothing too special, but not common to find a copy. it's even worse than Super Mario World 64 though, and a very short game at that.

Good to know. Thanks, shoemanbundy.
The site with the page I linked has some other information on various other unlicensed MD games I've never heard of before — another unlicensed Chinese/Taiwanese(?) porno mahjong game (which makes five — the three dumped ones and one more I found info on on another site), a FIFA World Cup 2006 game that appears to be a hack of some EA game, scans of an alternate printing of Super Bubble Bobble MD, and lots and lots of Famicom pirates.

Actually, the Super Bubble Bobble on rinkaku's site is the original. The one on segaretro is an alternate. Most of the Famicom pirates are shitty rpgs from Waixing and Nanjing, two companies who keep reusing the same engines over and over :/ As far as Genesis goes, one sorta interesting FC pirate is this:

A "port" of Barver Battle Saga, another unofficial rpg on Genesis, to the Famicom. Those Mahjong games I dunno anything about, think most of them are dumped though.

I was actually meaning to ask you about that Barver Battle Saga port — I found a video of the ending while looking for a video of the original one's ending =P
Thanks for pointing out the Super Bubble Bobble thing. Is that a company name on the spine?

No company name on the spine, but the people who developed it were Gamtec, same creators of Lion King II, Squirrel King, Tiny Toon Adventures 3, Adventurous Boy and others.

How do you know that — they aren't credited at the end... (which they usually do at the end when they don't at the beginning, like with Squirrel King) :/

I guess it's mostly an assumption, but the art style and feel of the game is pretty close to other games Gamtec made. Can't prove it with any hard evidence, but I'm 99.9% it's Gamtec =P

Actually, with regards to it being the SMS version in a MD case, does it support the MD's 3-buttonc ontroller? Hitting START in SMS mode otherwise won't cause the game to pause...
