If I remember correctly, I already told you this, but now it's not only being incredibly frustrating, but also unfair. Labyrinth Zone 3 - I was minding my own business, avoiding any rings, spikes and enemies, when I suddenly saw that freaking button object. Why is that a big deal? Because the game counts it as a bad thing and OmoChao's fuck-you-meter will increase! So I made it to Robotnik, didn't touch anything but buttons (no rings, no enemies, etc.) and what do I get at the shield before the capsule? Gold rank. Fuck. Only because I was forced to press 7 buttons in order to advance.
There are certain rings you
have to get, among other things. I'm not putting an omochao-free zone over every button, nor removing them or the message.

Don't get me wrong, challenge is a good thing, as already mentioned a couple of times, but this is just going way too far. And not even the ridiculous long jingle I am forced to sit through every time isn't what bothers me most. No, I'm kinda upset about because you said yourself "I wanted to keep the hack playable". Great, very playable to be forced to get OmoChao say stuff.
Later levels increase the challenge, and increase the waiting time. You can see the best/ranking scores. Don't like it? Fast forward or don't play, or sit through it like a man.

That little flying guy is meant to be a punishment whenever you make a mistake, but player shouldn't be punished for doing something he must do in order to advance! That goes against any logic of video gaming.
Buttons are a general object, hence why they were included, otherwise Labyrinth and others could be completed with absolute 0 easily. It's meant to get harder as it gets on, and there are alternate routes that require less button pushing at others, you just have to try and find out which are which.
I'll say it again, deal with it.
