Figured I'd list all my decent Modern times so far, all of which are improvements on the ones I've posted already. (These are on the Xbox 360 leaderboards, not PS3, so I'm not sure how I stack up against anyone on those) Green Hill - 1:46.51 Chemical Plant - 1:46.73 Speed Highway - 1:44.84 Seaside Hill - 2:14.58 Rooftop Run - 2:13.00 My Rooftop Run is definitely my best and I really want to cut it down to 2:10.
666 like a boss. In other news I've just taken to comparing my times vs the PS3 leaderboards. Despite the distinct advantage higher clarity speedrunning on PC gives, yadda yadda.
If you really want to add Cyberblade_Wolf to the PSN list, go for it. Though my PSN is boring. :v: Anyways, figured I'd post this cus I suddenly feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I've never seen the top 100 of a leaderboard in anything I've played, so hooray for feel good moments. :v:
I just thought I might upload a video to youtube of me doing a terrible play of Rooftop Run act 2. I looked at this list, and turns out I got 2nd . It honestly would have been 1st, but multiple times I forgot to hold boost and hit an enemy xD. I'll post a link to the video later if you need extra proof: Steam is Zantom07 . EDIT: Went back and improved by not falling over :D. I got a video of this one too. EDIT 2: Alright, video is up!
When you get hit seven seconds into the video, it's time to rerecord. I could understand if you were most of the way through an already good run and didn't wanna lose it for a potentially worse run, but in this case all you'd have to redo is the opening boost.
Hmmm, thanks for the tip. I probably will do Sky Sanctuary at some point and that has a big screw up at the beginning.

The boost management for the shortcut below the kart track is insane. Actually reaching that part with more than half your boost bar in a decent time is hard enough already.
Wihout ever seeing that video, I did exactly as he did but did the opening part way faster, and didn't two two things he did; boosting past the egg bats and boosting accross the water like he did. See, I'd always hit an invisible wall. I never jumped onto that platform before. Expect results tomorrow or next week!
I've been playing Crisis City modern over and over and OVER again in an effort to get a time I can be satisfied with. Today I managed a nearly perfect run... up until the way end where I was smacked in the face by a flying car. Fuck my life. 1:38:99. This is so frustrating. Not going to be happy with any of my runs until I can manage 1:36 or lower. So much can go wrong here.
I'm stuck at 2:12.77, I can't pull off the shortcut near the start quite like he does. After breaking the window, I hit the springs, boost backwards and onto the dashpad and then keep going. Every goddamn time, like habit.
