Well, I don't see this on the wiki (Altered Beast (home computers)), but I came across this YouTube video:

https://m.youtube.co...h?v=hmZfemAO8nI

The description of the video says this:

Quote

This is a very rare game by Korean developer Clover, from 1990. More information about Clover here: http://www.hardcoreg...g101.net/korea/

The game was dumped by a Korean fanatic, thanks! Also thanks to BiFi/hap for figuring out how the mapper of this 64kB game works. I implemented that mapper in openMSX to such extent that the game works and then recorded this video with it. (I guess no other emulator supports it yet, because it was just dumped a few days ago and I'm not aware of any other game with this mapper.)

I needed to use the reverse feature of openMSX a lot, because especially level 2 is *really* hard.

Unless the ZX Spectrum had a colour palette hardware mod in Korea this is not a ZX Spectrum game.

It's probably a MSX game, but I'm just going by the video description.

EDIT: Yeah, it's MSX. I've updated the topic accordingly.

It's a unlicensed product - it wouldn't qualify for Sega Retro, though is neat in its own little way I guess.

Ignoring the fact that there was an officially licensed MSX port

And hey, it's a lazy Spectrum conversion. It's a small world.

Yeah, the OP was confusing to me because I knew a ZX Spectrum port to the MSX existed, but looked nothing like the one in the OP. The original ZX spectrum port of AB is terrible, in case anybody is wondering.
