Digibase.ca has no StH content at all, so I won't link to them. Sonic Vegemite does. I'll fix the link to their site and update the button graphic.
Neat, I can finally look through the site. I don't know if this is big enough to constitute a "glaring mistake", but this page lists sprites to the left, when in actuality they are to the right. http://sost.emulationzone.org/sonic_cd/sprites/index.htm Later on in the page "hads" should be hands, of course. :v: If you're aiming to fix things like this, I'd be happy to look through the site sometime and help point them out. If you're not particularly perturbed by this though, I'll be quiet, haha.
I loved SOST back in the day, and was able to access it today for the first time in years. Thank you for cleaning it up. It reminds me of simpler, better days, when I was younger, and I didn't know everything about Sonic, which was fascinating.
Awww sweet, so glad to see this site again. Now I can only hope to see Sonic Official Art Archive updated more often.
I always loved the stylish blue design of the SOST website. Retro and Cult were always dark and grim looking. "We're Sonic fans, but we're hardcore, as denoted by our preference for dark colors."
That whole paragraph is confusing. Here it is now with a few corrections: Here how I propose it should read with some additional corrections:
Indeed, all the cool kids immediately discard the dark theme for the blue one. I'd put blue as default if a million people wouldn't whine. Also Category:Artwork instead of the Art Archive etc etc. We have all that art and a lot, lot more, including replacements of recreated art with the real thing (and accompanying SVGs.)
Yeah, I would totally whine. I whine when my computer somehow fucks up and has the blue background on the main page. RUSTED COPPER 4 LYFE!
Not to bump an old topic, but I thought I would again post my thanks for cleaning up SOST- I've just spent a good half an hour with my nost-goggles on, and it reminds me of when I first started to become really active in the Sonic online community. Thank you!
