Seemingly, a new project is being started. Guess what from the web-address on their back.

You know... When Sega said "reviving old IP's," I honestly didn't have this in mind. Or anyone for that matter. Guess we can't count out Jet Set Radio, huh?

Looking at it, I'm not sure if Sega is really that involved. Could be a Rez Infinite or Shenmue 3 situation where they're allowed to use the IP for whatever reason.

That's very true, and something I didn't even consider. Hmm. It still kind of rattles my mind of what they could even do to make Seaman realvent. The only thing logical thing that seems possible to me is some sort of mobile game. I'm still interested in seeing the return of Seaman though!

EDIT: The "don't Panic" reminds me of Hitchhikers Guide so... Seaman X Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would be a REALLY interesting mix.

Is Europe going to get it this time?

Even English-language only?

Considering they tweeted about it in English, I'm guessing it will be.

Simple, just release it!

It's 2017. The internet is full of nostalgia-ridden people who love bizarre stuff. Being crazy is an easy marketing tool.

EDIT: To elaborate, I don't think a game like Seaman has any real staying power, back then or now. But, in the context of things, it could be a really successful "fad game" that all the streamers like Vinesauce play until they and their audience get bored of it in a few months. Sales will die off, but those first few months will be explosive. It has a better chance at reaping money now than back then, especially given the unintentional (or sometimes not?) marketing machine that are popular streamers.
