I honestly like blue Knuckles even though he's technically a glitch (& not even an official character in the official Sega character roster for all of Sonic's friends/enemies). So I wanted to know if it's even possible to make Blue Knux selectable in 2P like how there is a minor hack to make him selectable in SP, and if so, has it ever been done yet? Because I would honestly be down for that. Blue Knux in 2P... Now that'd be interesting... :specialed: And I also plan to fix him up for good, meaning get a Blue Knux life portrait/BKTE initials for him. Or could he use B.K.T.E. like his red official brother? Honestly, I'd like to see that in some sort of mirror universe, but that's a whole other story. I'll stop talking before I bore you to death with . Also, I'm unsure whether I should give this topic the theory icon, the ASM icon, or the hack icon since it's essentially a mix of all 3 somehow.
If you want to add him to a S3K hack you could use this guide. But remember that "Blue Knuckles" is not meant to be a character, he is a glitch in the S3K engine and is not meant to be played by normal means.
I've actually already applied that fix. What I mean is actually adding him to the 2 player select screen to make him fully selectable in multiplayer, & possibly giving him his own life portrait, initials, & got through text. That's what I'm trying to fix next.
That's what I'm planning to do (initialize a copy of 2P Knuckles's sprites using 2P Sonic's palette). I could give you a ROM of what I've got so far, Blue Knux doesn't have save screen art, life portrait, the "BLUE KNUCKLES got through Act X" text, nor the BKTE/B.K.T.E. initials yet.
I for one say we should spearhead this project, make it maximum priority. Get the professionals. This would be cool.
