I didn't see a thread for this anywhere so I thought I'd make one. This is a pretty great hack. It had me playing more and more to see what the next world looked like. The graphics are well done. The level design of the first levels is a bit more like Sonic 1 but with more random spikes. The later levels actually have speedy sections like Sonic 2. Sadly, Cyber city and hidden palace zone are not 1 level worlds like the concept descriptions describe3d them as. All in all it's a great hack that I reccomend playing.

Ah, there's a thread over here about it.

Anyway, I definitely did enjoy the effort that went into the hack, with all the reimagination of the beta zones. Can't particularly say I enjoyed the level layout, however. Bottomless pits in the first zone that blend in with the foreground made me lose patience on occasion. Plus, we have the hack to thank for this gem:

Ok, I didn't find that thread before but thanks for posting it. I can see from the video that other people thought the level layout was poorly made. I noticed a few parts where you HAD to take hits. It would be nice if the levels were redesigned though. Then it'd be perfect. So far it's the closest hack graphicly, to what was known about what the levels should look like.
