yeah, are there any tools what will extract the afs and it's contents?

Puyo Tools will do the trick. (Scroll down to "Current Release")

It's useful for other things too.

Just tried it myself. It looks like it's detecting every entry in the archive with the same name. Try checking "Use file number as filename" or "Append file number to filename".

Ah I see, I have no idea what file is what once that's done.
