I can give it a try, though my Nihon-go isn't much better than the next anime devotee, I can at least get it transcribed if actually translating is too much. Edit: Made a start: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_eVWBffExjEcEtaSG1hODVxRkE/view?usp=sharing Not much but it will give you an idea of how I'll be doing it. Do you know of a higher resolution scan? Some of the characters are simply blurs. T_T
Thank you very much. />/> About higher resolution scan - I have no idea, what magazine was this anyway? Google says nothing.
I upscaled and denoised these pages using waifu2x.udp.jp website, I hope hieroglyphs are easier to discern now. http://imgur.com/a/RpVWl
I'll probably take a shot at translating this one of these days, though having higher res scans of this would still be highly beneficial. Not that the kanji is unreadable, just that it'd make it easier for me to look up the kanji I happen to not recognize is all. That stupid big SEGA watermark is a rogue element as well.
A higher resolution scan is what's needed, there are some ideographs that simply look like blurs to me. While I could guess from context, that could lead to a monumental translation screw up.
You know there are OCR programs online, you might... actually be able to do it yourself. Otherwise, hey look what I've got http://segaretro.org/Category:Japanese_books Here's 416 Sega-related Japanese books that need scanning and translating. Perhaps you'd like to get in line??
I can take a crack at this, but it's heck of a lot of text. Is there anything in particular you were looking to find out from it?
