Hi! I was just wondering if anyone could help?

I'm trying to edit sprites using Sonik Sprite. it is telling me that MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of it's components is missing. Does anyone know where I have to put it .
I have Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks!

EDIT: This is really in the wrong place? Could someone move it?

What are you doing using that, it won't let you do much o.O; (though I guess it's enough if you want to start messing with stuff...)

Try putting the OCX in the same folder as the program... Right now I really don't remember how that stuff is fixed, so I'm not sure though =/ Try it anyways, at worst you'll just keep getting the error message.

Honestly, you're probably better off using SonMapEd, and exporting the frames to be edited in an actual image editing program.

Note that you need to use a disassembly for this. Just use disassemblies instead, you can do so much more with it than a direct ROM hack.

If Win7 is like Vista, you'd have to stick the OCX file in the windows folder for the program to recognize that you have it. But as Sik & Sodaholic stated, why Sonik Sprite? SonMapEd allows you to edit all the sprites as oppose to a few you can edit with Sonik Sprite, plus it allows the user to import sprites over existing ones and create new sprites. But if you really want to use Sonik Sprite, I guess it's okay. :v:
