Here's another image of the logo with less ???????????? on top: https://twitter.com/nepsoku11/status/576975956495089665 I tried translating it. I gave up.
???????????VS?????????????????? Chou Jigen Taisen Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Yume no Gattai Special Google translate.
http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=32496&view=findpost&p=775799 p.s. I dunno about you but if you have a high tolerance for moe, ReBirth remakes are actually really, really solid RPGs. For reference, I refuse to touch the original Neptunia 1 with a 10ft pole.
Portraying consoles as humans is something I also can't really get behind. Humans have flaws. The Dreamcast is perfect. Although it doesn't help that it plays into Japan's obession with underage girls and the declining population and whatever. It always makes me feel a bit uneasy these games are being made, nevermind localised where this culture tends not to exist. My thoughts are in no way influenced by the fact I haven't even broke even on my own published game.
Neptunia's Dreamcast for reference: Spoiler Human Form: Goddess Form: She basically lives in a post-apocalyptic world as well.
Yeah I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to pick this up, assuming a physical English release =P http://gematsu.com/2015/03/hyperdimension-neptunia-vs-sega-hard-girls-announced-for-ps-vita translates the title as Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special, incidentally.
There will be. The only time a physical Neptunia release didn't hit Europe is with the remake of the first game, which was only because Compile Heart's parent company set up shop in US and took the game rights from NISA and didn't have a lot of money afterwards.
I swear, me and Sik were already thinking of this because Noire and Saturn-chan are sorta like expies to each other in our eyes. They stole this from us! Oh, and Compile Heart games are a bittersweet experience; you love one bit of the game and then you hate another. You say you're not gonna buy it, but then you do it anyway; happens to me all the time. :v: Here's hoping for PlayStation TV compatibility.
If that's Tsunako who drew the Sega girls, I've gotta say they're not bad. Saturn-chan still the best. If by any chance for localization, would there be a partnership required with Sega, the girls being Sega property and all that? I don't think Idea Factory International could just bring this over by itself. Probably a dumb question but just curious.
Yes, SEGA would have to get directly involved, but they were directly involved with Hyperdimension Neptunia as well so they SHOULD know what it is already.
