What is the the compression/decompression of Sonic the Hedgehog 2?

EX:
Star Fox 64 and Super Mario64 is MIO0
Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Animal Crossing is Yaz0

(If they even are compressed.)

If I remember correctly. Games where never compressed until the Nintendo 64 and other 3D games era, if my memory serves me correctly.

The ROM as a whole is not compressed. Though most of the art, mappings, and music in the ROM are.


TSDC can compress/decompress these formats.
