No Cliché (of Toy Commander fame) getting a credit on the title screen of that Quake III prototype - I wonder what that's all about.

That's pretty sweet. I've been on Hidden Palace frequently as of late just archiving MD/SNES protos in my rom collection.

I especially appreciate the ones of unreleased games. Thanks as always.

This is the sort of thing that would have been amazing on the Mega-CD. All the kids playing it would be traumatised by the Gatekeeper randomly turning up, and all reviewers would hate it.

It's an admirable attempt on the SNES but you need that guy.

That Nightmare game would have been amazing if finished, it had some really cool things going on and looks fun to play.

A couple of goodies for this week. We have a WCES 1994 prototype of The Jungle Book for the Sega Mega Drive. And courtesy of DillyDilan we also have prototypes of Spirou and Tintin in Tibet for Mega Drive, a late PAL prototype of Adventure Island III (which I think was unreleased in Europe), and an alternate REV A build of NHLPA Hockey '93 for Mega Drive.

Enjoy!

The unreleased NES game title "UWC" (after the Universal Wrestling Corporation) has been released!

Very special thanks to Archon 1981 for acquiring the game and sharing it to the world and Frank Cifaldi from VGHF for dumping the game and giving us an opportunity to share it. Enjoy :)

No idea, we don't have the cart on hand.

My guess would be some kind of lock-out bypass, like the ones used by Camerica/Codemasters
