Seriously though, this is freaking awesome. Great work HXC! First day of 2006 and we are already kicking ass! Poo on everyone that says the scene is losing its purpose. *documents the event for my end of the year review topic in December*

Also, I am not at all against HXC becoming a techie, and I'd be exceedingly happy for him. But I'm thinking, is conducting a few interviews and unearthing some art really at all technical? But then you must condsider how many answers these interviews and art peices have provided. Well, its the admin's call.

Great stuff. Three w00ts for HXC!

I wasn't expecting techue, but meh, I'll go with it.

I reckon the techie status is well deserved. The info that has been found by HXC is invaluable to the community.

His Techie promotion is for the secret forum access. Maybe a second group will eventually rectify the need for the status.

Wow, this just gets me sad about the game's cancellation all over again.

Great work, HXC! Congratulations on your promotion, as well. That character looks interesting. Too bad the game got canned. I wander what it would've been like, and also if this character would've appeared in future games.

Don't think so... Unless there was a Sonic X-Treme 2 or something.

Oh, that's an easy one. Tiara could be a rival to Amy Rose, and they'd constantly get into fights over Sonic. At least that's how I see it.

Hence why there should be a seperate 'Researcher' class with the same forum access as Tech Members, to avoid these dilemmas on whether proper researchers should be promoted to "Techie".

As a certain Sci-Fi character would say: "Fascinating"

Neat to see the evolution of Tiara. That last one seems to most resemble what we can probably guess is her final form, as seen here.. Or, at any rate, as final as she ever got.

The game play footage looks promising, although clearly not in-game footage.

But this was before it was called Sonic Extreme, you say? More to come? Hmm..

I have a feeling that this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

...Or just rename "Tech Member" to something more general, as sometimes the promoted person has done both tech and other kinds of research.

Yeah, infact, that would probably create less needless complications than my original suggestion. ^^; Good call, ICEknight.

Very awesome.

Too bad her character design is awkward. Reminds me waaay too much of Archie's Sally Acorn character. =\
