The only level I would absolutely love to see is Hydrocity. Not saying others aren't appreciated though.

Ice cap would be good because it's in Sonic 3 and Sonic Adventure

Handheld makes the most sense for an era, as it's one that's not covered
Classic: Sunset Park (Sonic Triple Trouble)
Advance: Music Park(?) (Sonic Advance 3)
Modern: Night Carnival (Sonic Rush)

Given that the DLC wouldn't be on a nintendo console, something from Sonic Rivals would probably make more sense then Sonic Rush. But there really was no Dreamcast era handheld game that would make sense except for the Advance series and possibly Sonic Pocket Adventure.

Advance series makes sense for Dreamcast era.
Planet Wisp wasn't on the PS360 console originally, either. So there :p

I personally would like Kingdom Valley to be a DLC level, I mean... the Machspeed section at the end, that was originally going to look so much better then it did in the final release, I'm trying to imagine how beautiful that would look today in HD. Brilliant I bet you. Plus a remix of that song... My god I want that so bad.
for a Classic level, I'd go with what everyone else is saying. Ice Cap Zone, we haven't had an ice trope in the game, so why not? Although I guess Lava Reef would be really nice. Apart from Crisis City, there's nothing for a fire trope, and in a way Crisis City is more of a city trope then a fire trope.
for the Adventure era, I'd honestly go with Metal Harbor or Final Rush. Metal Harbor's music would make an amazing remix, plus you've got stuff like the missile launch and all that. And then Final Rush is so much fun to play because you can just launch yourself off and make massive skydives down the level in several places, which I loved doing, that'd be so much fun to do. Bet it'd be full of shortcuts like the one at the start of Chemical Plant Act 2 though, boost ring to boost ring to light dash path over a bottomless pit, I'm sure you know what one I'm on about.
I wouldn't mind Holoska - Cool Edge either now that I think about it. Same reasons as Ice Cap really in this case though.
so...

Modern Era - Holoska Cool Edge or Kingdom Valley

I always get so disappointed when people discuss DLC because it makes me think it's being spurred by Sega announcing, "We're workin' it!"
One day, maybe...

^ Seeing as how Sega has said nothing on DLC so far, I'd rather hear a "we're working on it" then nothing. Least working on it gives promise to something in the future.
Honestly I want them to avoid Sonic and Knuckles levels since both Mushroom Hill and Sky Sanctuary have already been represented, and IMO S&K's levels are the weaker of S3K. We need more pure Sonic 3 representation, since they have seemingly ignored it entirely with the exception of the Big Arm fight.

I just want to see aquarium park. :|
The music was awesome, it'd be a full on water level, and underwater japan aquarium theme park in space is a damn unique level theme.

Where did the idea that this game would be getting any DLC come from, again?
Casino Night is an unlockable that's already in the disc, for anybody who was going to reply with that. =P

Basically this, really. We've heard nothing, from past history we shouldn't expect anything either. Sega right now will be working on the next mainstream title, not Generations DLC.

Wellif unleashed was anything to go by, that's where we get the idea from. That and wishful thinking

I assume some are hoping for new zone DLC because Generations is based on older games and levels are done in a format where it is easy to imagine an exact number of new content added.
Meanwhile I'm assuming(or at least hoping) they'll do something simpler due to history. Generations is built off of Sonic Unleashed, which had a DLC patch that allowed both new object layouts and entirely new stage layouts from downloadables. It makes sense that they could pull off the same with Generations, which, while lacking a quick act select menu to stuff new stages in, has an already existing challenge mission system which I would think would work well with Unleashed style DLC. Perhaps add a new DLC hub world, same layout, different lighting, block off stages/mission packs you haven't downloaded.
This is assuming they didn't give up on the idea of DLC due to issues or the sales of the Unleashed ones, figuring people would accept the on-disc Casino Night minigame and put the work into future titles instead.

Honestly, I'd be up for anything that isn't more Challenge Levels. New acts, new zones, anything would be awesome.
