I wish they didn't put on his voice. I don't mind too much when it's the less smarmy sounding Japanese VA, but the American ones are so annoying.
I'll admit there must be a little bit of fanboy left in me though, since I had a big stupid grin on my face when they showed Super Sonic.

I think it's valid to have both topics, believe it or not. This topic can solely discuss Sonic in Brawl, and nothing else.

Wow, now this is a REAL chance to see our favourite blue Hedgehog smack the italian plumber around like a rag doll. Now if only I had the cash to get a Wii... -_-;;

REAL chance meaning Mario & Sonic Olympics looks like crap to me.

 

My latent Sonic fanboy immediately awakened upon hearing this news. I don't think I can properly describe the huge grin on my face as I sat there watching Sonic fly past Mario, rip through Donkey Kong and turning into Super Sonic. I guess Sega can make all the crappy Sonic games they want and my fanboyism won't go away. :D

 

This is gonna be so awesome! An event 17 years in the making. Somehow you can see a shadow of Classic Sonic if you look at the pictures....

I can't wait to see a Mario and Sonic 2P Co-op!!!

 

I've been waiting for that since I was like 6, but I highly doubt it's going to happen.

My bad, I read "2D" instead of "2P". I was dreaming about a platform game in which Robotnik and Bowser team up and... well, you can imagine the rest of the plot. That would be awesome, maybe someday I'll consider to make a fangame.

 

Pssst... single player mode in SSBB is a 2D platformer.

While I'm sure Sonic will suck eggs, I suppose this is good news.

 

Dude, it's Super Smash Brothers. Even they can't screw this one up.

That trailer was amazing. I especially loved all the classic sound effects they were using.

 

This is Smash Team, not Sonic Team. They know what they are doing.
