We at Sonic Paradise have found new footage video of Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car. Youtube user Ehfvanteis recorded some gameplay video from a cabinet found in Japan, and shows how the gameplay is, and how the cabinet looks like. There are no other gameplay videos ( or at least, that I'm aware), so I though you might like it, like you did with the SegaSonic Cosmo Figther footage we uploaded last year. Enjoy it!
That is really cool. I'm pretty sure that "spin attack" was to hit Eggman's car. But yeah, neat to see something from the 90's that I haven't seen before, and a Sonic game at that!
I love the idea of a policeman Sonic hitting every possible car on the road while screaming for people to "WATCH OUT!". Brilliant stuff, thanks for the videos.
Ooooh! I like how it says "Harinezumi" on the furigana on the words Sonic on the game title :P Epic stuff!
Oh, I can only imagine what the people walking by were thinking when they saw him. Cool stuff though. Now all we need is footage of that Sonic popcorn maker.
Awesome! I love how they reused one of Sonic's very early drawings for one of the cabinet stickers... since there was still little to no artwork of him at all.
I find it odd there are so many games that Sonic drives when he's the fastest thing alive, lol. But this is interesting, and I would have loved to have this at a mall when I was 6 years old.
The music of this contraption is wonderfull, probabbly the best versions of Green Hill and the Boss theme, for me. I find it wonderfull that Sega had so many of these machines and arcades back then. I find it odd why this is always an issue, we do so many things in other ways that we are capable to do alone. He uses a car in races because those are the rules (would you just run on a sack race?) and here because.... he's a police officer. :v:
