The laughing animation is used.

Actually, looking at that video again, and then looking at the good ending, I think I have a theory on where the other animation was supposed to be used. That ring that is in the middle of that ending that I linked to, its not there during the good ending. My guess is that the rings were supposed to gather around that ring, it would disappear, and that would be where the empty handed animation is used. Just my two cents

I saw the Chaotix ending with Sonic & Tails...could they be put on the Title? Would look neat...
Also great job at finding all these new things! Tails in Tornado, Super Sonic... who knows what else is in there!

A bit unrelated, but has anyone hacked in and got a full sprite of the Sonic and Tails on the Tornado at the end of the game yet? I can't find it anywhere online.

Great, but one problem, what pallete do I use to get the colors right?
Your guess is as good as mine. I only found the proper pallet once for a mighty sprite, and that was on accident.
