While I love my Grado SR80i headphones, they have one huge problem. They are not noise cancelling. This is a problem because my concentration issues are massive and it's screwing me over regularly when I go to Smash tournaments. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend quality noise cancelling headphones that cancel out noise extremely well. If Grado made noise cancelling headphones, this would be easy but they don't unfortunately. Regarding the price tag, I don't really want to spend more than $150. Don't really want to buy new headphones at all, but my focusing issues are just absolute garbage and I'm tired of being the asshole that constantly asks people to be quiet when I'm playing a match. -_-

I use the Hyper X Cloud Headset and have often found that it cancels out noise quite nicely, even if it's not advertised to do such. It will set you back about 79 USD, but it's more than worth that price.

I ended up going with that pair of headphones, which has worked out pretty well. They don't sound as nice as my Grado headphones, but they work great as portable headphones, cancel out noise well, and the case protects them. Also, I was quite surprised when I found out someone responded to this topic 9 months after I initially made it. o_O
