I will be perfectly honest, I don't like this hack. Once you get past the novelty "wat" factor, there isn't much to it, even for a demo.
-Yes Hill Zone was very generic; during act 1, I actually couldn't tell if anything besides graphics was changed for a good while into the level. The rolling part at the beginning of act 2 was pretty cool, though.
-Yes Art Zone was decent, though again, it felt a LOT like Marble Zone.
-Yesticles Zone in particular killed my enthusiasm for the hack. Bumpers are just WAY too touchy to use for platforming properly, and a couple of the jumps took me over a minute straight each. :argh:
-Yes Station Zone made me rage. Control in the water was nonexistent, and a once, I actually got STUCK in an inescapable area and drowned. In addition, I nearly drowned AFTER the goal. :argh:
-Three Yes Old Zone was pretty fun overall. Definitely my favorite zone.
-Yes Zone dragged on forever and put those Pal guys in such awkward places for the bombs they throw. Nothing really redeeming for this area, either.
-WHAT DID YOU DO TO _ ZONE?! I don't even know how you accomplished that! @_@

All in all, the only real substance it has to it is the downright bizarre graphics.

EDIT: I'm flattered that my Sonic hack elicited enough emotions inside of you to convince you to sign up and criticise it, I guess.

I realize now that I kinda bashed your hack without giving any constructive criticism, so I'm going to fix that now.

-Yes Hill Zone could use with a bit of touching up in relation to creativity, but it's not BAD, per se. Act 1 could use some redesigning, as it's far too reminiscent of the unchanged GHZ.
-Yes Art Zone, I can't really suggest anything. It works well enough.
-Yesticles Zone would be fine if it weren't for the bumpers. If you could find some substitute that wasn't so touchy, the level would actually be a lot of fun. Maybe a weakened version of a spring?
-Yes Station Zone's gimmick is good in theory, but poorly implemented. The speed increase is just too drastic. If you reduced the speed to a manageable speed, it would work just fine as a level.
-Three Yes Old Zone is fine as is.
-Perhaps consider breaking Yes Zone into 2 zones at some point. The points where you put Pals in areas where you had to roll into small openings definitely need the Pals moved, as the balls do damage even when you're rolling. Maybe consider moving them to in FRONT of the opening?
-If you were going for a mindfuck with Zone, then you succeeded big-time; I don't know what to say about this one.

(And by the way, no, I did not sign up specifically to criticize your hack, lol.)

Nah. The most memorable games are the difficult ones and I'd rather leave a negative impression than none at all, and honestly I'd rather it be hated than get "hey that's pretty cool kay bye" comments.

...Except the Pal placements, those were probably a little unfair.

Or just call it the Yeth OST, if you hate cool things. Anyway, I whipped this up for Banoon to use and he made a few tracks too. Sadly, it doesn't look like it'll be bundled with the game proper, as Banoon lost the source to the game in a hard drive crash. Maybe if he starts over it'll see use. But for now, it's a shame to let good music go to waste, so I implore you to click on the album art above and enjoy anyhow! If you download it, you'll also get a few bonus tracks. As always, leave feedback and let us know what you think.

It would be easy to just copy them from the ROM. Just play the game and take a screenshot for every sprite. Time-consuming, but easy.

Not sure if this is worth the bump or if this is even the best place to post this, but someone made Yeth shirts, and I figure members of the Sonic Retro community who like Yeth would want to know.

I wonder if Antdude ever contacted Banoon about making these shirts, or if Banoon even knew of them until now.
