Yes it does, but wiki contributions are concrete things that can be pointed out. http://info.sonicretro.org/Special:ContributionScores

That page has a ranking system which points out who has worked on the wiki and how much they have. It would have been easy to add something for that. Say over 100 edits earns it or something.

The answer is no. If there is to be any kind of wiki-based achievements, they'll be assigned on a case-by-case basis—not based on arbitrary numbers which can, frankly, have any meaning in the wide scope of things. A high edit count means nothing if all of them were just correcting minor typos (not to discourage that, though; correcting typos is helpful... just not the same as creating a thousand new pages, for example).

Yes, but you can rack up a high edit count by being an illiterate goon and needing to re-edit your terrible grammar five thousand times before finally consulting the spellchecker/thesaurus/dictionary.

However, there should be an achievement for anyone who has to go through the wiki correcting the spelling and grammar of other illiterate goons colbert.png
(No, not really)

EDIT: Well bollocks, just as I went to the effort of actually posting, Tweaker got there first

Meh, Achievements are just a reason to play a bad game even more rolleyes.png
A novel idea, too bad I need to either start rom hacking or editing the wiki.

Well Isn't it encouraging you to get more involved with the site? Which can be a good thing to a certain point.

Only noticed this now, though it's been awhile.

True that, I have a high count of edits because I always forget something (links, errors, half the text still in the clipboard, changing my mind) on a page and end up editing 5 times (at least) before I'm happy with the final page...

Thank you for the image restoration achievement though.

I have some questions:

Shouldn't Dude get the Hacking Utility Programmer achievement?

Should I have the Wiki Restoration Contributor achievement?

This happens to me a lot, I always feel so stupid for having to go back and fix "it's" to "its" or something.

Definately on the former.

The latter - I dunno, I dunno what the trigger number of images to be restored is.

I didn't contribute much, either. I'd definitely agree on MainMemory for Wiki Retroration Contributor, except that it was stated that asking for an achievement pretty much nullifies your chances to get it :P

I got it after uploading only a few images, so it doesn't seem hard to get.

Well, I uploaded more images, but PicklePower replaced all of them. And I wasn't technically asking for one, just asking if I should have one. :P
