You can't add or remove objects with SonED1, you need SonED2 to do so.

But SonED2 is a complete mess, stick with SonED1 and delete those objects by hand in hex or something.

It isn't a complete mess, you probably just don't know how to use it =P

SonED2 > SonED1

You could do something with the controls really. There's a specific driver that allows the serial (or was it parallel with an adapter?...) port to communicate with SEGA Gamepads. Now if you get this to output, and kinda have a virtual serial port for the INPUT, you might just get it to work ;)

Hey, Oerg, the point's over there. I think you might have missed it.

The idea is to test the rom on actual genesis hardware, not just the controller. And yeah, it's a parallel port that you need for using a legit sega controller, but you have to do all sorts of wire splicing to get it to work. It fits into a serial port, but there's no way of getting that to work.

I think you need quite a big mess on the LPT port of your PC for all of this to get working ;) 2x LPT ports could work out just fine... the USB to LPT things are told to be only useful for printers...

my LPT port is used by my MultiPurposeComputerPeripheral aka MD cart dumper/writer (old old pic of the device and my flashcart - http://www.hot.ee/tm...PROM/INACT2.JPG ), if anyone badly needs a ROM to be tested on real HW, and also in out of specs config (think of overclocking), can contact me (my profile is filled with contact methods).

You have pretty awesome idea, and I wish you good luck on that (and save all the ROMs you recive in the process :P )
