EDIT: It's in the original, but still odd, since Knuckles can't go through it, why can Crabmeat?: Awesome work, Stealth. Here's a bug, the Crabmeat goes through the rock (I think):
I don't mean to be demanding but dude.....you should port sonic 2's sonic into sonic 1 with super sonic! I don't even give a shit about the pallete issue it would just be sweet as fuck.
Hm, I don't remember seeing that on hardware, and I played through it twice...I'll check again. Edit: Hmm...I just beat the game and it didn't do that. I know for a fact it didn't do it with all the emeralds, as I beat it both ways. I can see you're using Kega. That's extremely weird. If it doesn't do it on hardware, then the problem is in the emulator, and not the ROM, in 99% of cases. Edit2: Shit! He's right! It's only one frame, and it appears right when Knuckles jumps. Talk about egg on my face... It only happens when you have 5 or less emeralds, however. If you get the good ending then this garbage does not appear, and I checked frame-by-frame.
There's an entire frame that doesn't display correctly!? It's not 100% perfect!? OH MY GOD! (hint: sarcasm)
That was in every version of the game, hun. Beautiful hack... the bonus was definately a worthwhile treat ^^
how do I activate the bonus feature?? where am I gonna write the code? and how? all that udrl something what is the keys on a default dgen?
This code is hurting my head! Is it a Game Genie code? There's no way all of those buttons could fit on a Genesis controller.
Are you people stupid or something? U = Up, D = Down, L = Left, R = Right. So it's B B B B Up Down Left Right.
Wow, Stealth! These bug fixes are great, makes this even more fun. And to celebrate the fixing of the spike bug, I've found another (duplicated in debug mode): The spindash state isn't being reset correctly in these instances; hence why he shoots off after landing. Also, I can't see any changes in effect when I enter the bonus mode code. The first code (ring sound) only works if the second is entered first (emerald sound). Also, the dummy key bug still seems to be there - a key has to be pressed before the UDLR cheat will work.
