Yes, I know that the objects in Emerald Hill are freaky. Ignore those for now. But by the way, is there any way to completely remove an object from a level, or do I HAVE to move its position?
Download the patch here.
Feedback would be much appreciated. kthx
Thanks,
-DK
Edit: Palette change to CPZ. Sorry that everything's green.... ^^;;

Ye that looks really strange. I dislike how the level pallettes are used for the enemies aswell. It means you can't change the level pallette without changing the colour of the enemies.
Is there a way of splitting them up so the enemies can use a seperate pallette to the levels? Or would that include major screwing with the code?

I honestly don't know. I'm sure that there IS a way to do it, it's just that it probably requires me doing a bunch of stuff that I've never done before. ^^;;

In some cases, changing enemy pallete pointers to a different one would work, but where the pointers are is beyond me.

Major screwage. You would have to insert a pallet at the end of the ROM and change the pointers fr the enemies. Then you have to screw around with the pallet. Atleast that's my guess; I suck with these things.
I like the CPZ background Bleeding Cut, IMO.

Oh thank you, Soil. I was going for a nighttime background. Though I think the green is out-of-place. What color might be a better choice?

Purple-pink:
(personally I think this one looks nicer, but I want several opinions on it first)

It does look nicer, but maybe if it was a bit darker it would blend in better.
Although, I'm on a laptop so the colours naturaly look lighter.

This reminds me...I was thinking about continuing work on my hack, Sonic 2 Epsilon. Anyways, those palettes look okay. Keep up the good work.

A shade or gray, gold or light brown would be the best for Chemical plant's Ground tiles tiles. Blue, Purple, Green, red, yellow, or orange doen't work. It looks too wierd.

Much better. Lessen the green in the panels in the ground and it's great.

Okay, I'll continue to work on it. I have to do two or three more palette changes, then all of the layouts need to be completed. When that's done I'll send out another patch.
