    It looks like the yellow thing is a gear or cog of some kind. At the moment I'm imagining some weird hybrid of Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride from Super Mario 64.

    Is it suffice to say that we are now in the first stage of the Sonic Cycle? :v:

    Seriously though, as cool as it is to see new 3D Sonic graphics, there's so much that we don't know, and so much Sonic Team needs to prove. I know a lot of fans dig Colors and Generations (myself included), but that was now 7 and 6 years ago, respectively. We've had one mainline title (Lost World) since then, and it was mediocre, at best. We've had highs (Transformed) and abysses (RoL) outside of Sonic Team's direct control. I'm trying to stay level-headed in the heat of the moment. Hopefully E3 will have a playable demo.

    The panel was describing factions as a thing in the game. I have a feeling Eggman/Eggman's forces will be playable in some form.

    Not wild about the theme. Feels a bit too generic hyper anime, mainly because of how fast the percussion is, as well as how many seemingly lead instruments there are. I have a hard time believing the Switch version will look like this. Regardless I'll really have to up my GPU to get the PC version to look quite that nice (currently running a GTS 450).

    Well fuck me and my pessimism. Hedgehog Engine 2. Modern Sonic looks very Boost formula still, flaws (linear af) and all.
