Well done Sir, finally this whole scene gets realistic.

Im so slow, I can't out run the lava in act 2!! XD

It would be nice if the moto had a spin-dash esque move o he could get short bursts of speed...instead of relying on speed shoes to get you up to speed.

 

it does feel a little... wrong to have him killing other motobugs...

also I kind of always viewed the badnik as being female for some reason. *shrug*

anyways brilliant work :P

 

LADYbug must really speak to you. But this is a very funny mod, not so much for actually playing to win but to screw around in. And for that, it does it's job very well. Motobug just stirrin' up shit like the ferocious beast he is.

 

LOL what a unique hack. The motor bug could do with having Sonic's speed in normal mode. Funny as hell to play when you get the power sneakers. I also agree the motor bug could do with a spin dash type of move. Or even unique moves like firing a hurt ball from the mouth. I look forward to a full animation set for going round loops.

 

Needs more exhaust when moving, and less ability to spin. Also, I noticed some flipped and/or glitched sprites, mainly when going really fast with Speed Shoes. The flame when going fast and the look up/down poses are neat additions, though!

 

I took this challenge, and...



It took a lot of (slow!) thinking, but I managed it. The biggest problems were the fire pit at the start with the sinking platforms and a bit at the end where I was required to take a hit so I could bounce onto the platform and continue. I'll see if I can finish the rest of it...

Edit: Nope, no getting past the lava flow in Act 2.

 

Maybe you could say it's a modified Motobug and use it as an excuse to make it move faster? (with proper acceleration and animation, of course). You could also argue it was Tails who did it, which explains why he attacks other badniks.

Also trying hack now.

 

I have been playing this quite a bit.

Beat Spring Yard Acts 1 + 2, and Labryinth Acts 1 + 2.

Came this close to beating Star Light Act 1.

Trying the rest of Star Light, then on to Scrap Brain.

This hack really makes you rethink how to proceed through the levels though, because you are at such a slow pace!!

Makes for a VERY entertaining hack!

EDIT:

This is where the spin-dash esque move would come in handy. Along with loops and larger hills.

The moto looks as if he is going to go over the loop.

Then he thinks "FUCK THAT" and turns away.

Priceless. Even if it is unintentional. :D
