Thanks. Is there a way I can browse this from Linux without using UAE, which I never got working properly? I'm just interested in knowing if the ROM he built is based entirely on the source image or if he had to provide a substitute file from elsewhere.
EDIT http://www.assembler...ll=1#post575021 actually this (is he the same guy?) says that the archive was complete and that no extra files were needed? I just want to be absolutely sure.

It's actually not a hardfile image, but a folder of files. UAE can use either. So if you just decompress the arc, you should have no problem going through the file without UAE. I hven't tried it yet myself, or checked if there are extra files compared to the original source release. I guess you can check that yourself.
As for a working UAE, use the SDL version of EUAE from Richard Drummond: http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/
It's getting a bit old, but still works just fine on every linux system I've tried it on.

hm; forget the verfication thing because: (but thanks anyway)
"comment: Original hash value was from rom which was incorrectly compiled from the source code which resulted in graphical glitches when the game is paused. The updated hash [CRC: 2bfcaa3e] (2012-04-25) is from the final rom assembled by hand from the binary code. " - Special T from no-intro
new md5sum: A43EF53F2131CD88E7620CDBF724EF84
new crc32: 2BFCAA3E
Does anyone have this version? I don't immediately see it on the forum posts linked here. Thanks.
http://forums.no-int....php?f=6&t=2297 seems to have more detailed info, but the only files I find are crc32 7674414a and crc32 237fb077
I might be missing something; sorry if I am.
Perhaps a permanent store for all these versions should be in order... I can put everything up on Sega Retro after I collect it all again; http://segaretro.org...:_Hoppin%27_Mad is my search for the ROMs, but I still can't find the proper final one...

http://www.retroroms...#forumpost47848 found it; I'll see if I can upload everything (except the Amiga disk contents with the tools) to the Sega Retro wiki for preservation (we already host some prototypes)
Can someone reupload the source code? All the links are dead (derp MegaUpload and derp the RapidShare links expired). Thanks.
