If rings are attracted by electricty then why can they be considered magnetic? Unless you wanna debate that the Lightning Shield was really an Electromagnet Shield?

So when you think about it: Super Sonic's one weakness is really electricity. Get a guy who can control that and all of Sonic's rings are suddenly thrust out of him negating his Super form.

If we continue along this train of thought- does that mean Knuckles can punch electricity? (The intro to Sonic 3) Further evidence of this is the battle mode of SA2 where he had the thunder strike ability thing.


We need to go deeper guys.

EDIT: Ah okay about the magnetic thing then. I thought as much, just checking. My other theories still stand though.

Here's Sonic in a ancient underground ruin, on an island he didn't know about until like 15 minutes or so ago. Said island has had no contact with the outside world for WHO KNOWS how long. However, Sonic's exact likeness via stone statues is carved in its ceiling walls.



How about we go even further? Blaze shows up in Sonic's world via from another dimension. Nobody except like Cream knows she exists at this point right? (need to look over the story again sometime) The VERY first zone she goes through is Night Carnival, with her name and face EVERYWHERE. It is a nice call back to Casino Night, except IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

How do we explain all this?

It's simple, Robotnik Corp. (Mainly known to make not-so-reliable air surf boards) personalizes their awesome casinos using digital screens desguised as billboards and etc... to make you feel home, because they love you(r money that is usefull to make egg-shaped death weapons of doom).

This is the one thing in this topic with actual rationale. The echidnas prophesied Sonic coming to save the island, it's even in Hidden Palace Zone on a murel!

This proved that knuckles is just plain STUPID! He believed Eggman over potentially hundreds or thousands of years of Echidna prophecy. Who put him in charge of the Master Emerald again?

I reckon it's best explained as being related to the prophecy. Really it's probably likely it was just an easter egg but either way it makes sense.
