I was been wondering… after Generations what whould Sega do? Starting a new Sonic Era? Sega would be considering a new Sonic design? If in the end of Generations C.Sonic fuses with M.Sonic?

If anything, 'Classic Sonic' has been selling more, just not having any new entries often.

Well of course Classic Sonic has been selling more, SEGA keeps rereleasing the same game on every platform under the sun (With the strange exception of Android), I don't see them doing the same with the Modern games (quality issues of post SA2 games aside).

Sonic Adventure has been the most re-released modern game, three times (4 if we count Adventure International), I lost count of how many times has Sonic 1 been re-released.

They will release Sonic Generations 2 in 2031 with even more Green Hill and even more Green Eyes.

Stolez from a Youtube comment about Mike Pollock on the Bosses trailer:

Quote

He isn't anywhere near as good as Deem Bristow or Long John Baldry, and he makes Eggman sound too young. He makes Eggman sound like a man in his 50s when Eggman is in the 60s-early 70s range. Harry Shearer and Ian McShane would be much better choices for Eggman.

How old IS the dude? I never pictured him as elderly.

Remember: Sonic has been around for twenty years. Classic Sonic was only around for about seven of them. It only makes sense that "modern" Sonic gets more representation.

Sonic Adventure Sonic differs from Sonic Heroes Sonic, Riders Sonic, Sonic 06 Sonic, and the Unleashed (aka Modern) Sonic. So no, that is not fair.

Also what about Pocket Adventure? Mega Collection? Sonic 4? And so on. 'Classic Sonic' never left and has sold well into the double digit millions. I remember Sonic 1 mobile sold 14 million, for example.

If anything, 'Classic Sonic' has been selling more, just not having any new entries often.

True, but since Adventure Sonic is more like Modern Sonic, they wind up giving 2/3 of the stuff to him, since, well, bosses like Chaos go to Modern Sonic while there's only the first fourish games for Classic Sonic.

Of course in another 20 years this might change a lot, given it seems SEGA has realized that Modern Sonic isn't that popular with the older part of the fanbase...

Looking through the past few pages it looks like everyone's still talking about the boss trailer, so I'm going to assume this hasn't been posted yet:

http://cnettv.cnet.c...3-50113211.html

Aaron Webber shows off full playthroughs of both classic and modern Sky Sanctuary and Seaside Hill. You're gonna have to skip ahead a little since the beginning is about Arkham City.

Both of the modern stages are amazing.

EDIT: Death Egg Robo's at the end as well.

Eggman? In the games no official age was revealed, however he's suspected to have over 50, if he really knows his Grandfather.
In the Archie comics he have around 40 something.

It's a secret copy of a Genesis Sonic in which he was wearing a shirt, battling the evils of nakedness for a change. Very rare game.

Just noticed that in modern Seaside Hill, the track eventually switches into Ocean Palace. Awesome.

Also, here's a direct download link to the video (right click, save as.) in case anyone wants it.

I always imagined Eggman in his early 40s. He can't be that old because he has a very red moustache. So unless he dyes the thing (wouldn't put it past AOSTH Robotnik), he can't be older than that. The 40s seem like a good age to peak intellectually as well.

So five bonus missions for classic sonic and five for modern sonic per stage times 9 stages equals 90 bonus missions.

And here I thought I wasn't going to get my money's worth.
