S1's DAC in Sonic 2 Because the porting guide does not solve this?

Alright, I have recently ported over Sonic 1's sound driver over to Sonic 2. It works fine for the most part. But then I noticed that the DAC is missing completely. How would someone go about fixing this?

The porting guide doesn't solve this because it's not MEANT to solve it. All it covers is porting the actual driver over—not to fix the music and sound effects to fit Sonic 2.

Me and Puto made a package to rectify this, but we haven't released it yet. I don't know if we will, either—all we've been doing is distributing it behind closed doors to certain people thus far.
