So through out the years iv modded quite a number of Dreamcast Games by replacing the music among other files, you can see some examples down below. As much as i love Sonic Shuffle, when you playing it for a few hours with friends you start to desire some Jun Senoue rocking in the Background! Sadly after over a year of trying to crack SS and locate the music files but have yet to find them. My fear is that the Music is streamed via in game as there is a lack of ADX or other Dreamcast sound files located anywhere on the Disk. if anyone knows the location of files it would be very much appreciated, or if it is impossible

I'm pretty sure almost all of Sonic Shuffle's music is sequenced, so that's why you won't find any ADX files. I would be looking for SSF/DSF stuff, probably packed or compressed in some way.

Thanks that's what i was thinking. Shame that's there's no way to swap it out "easily" maybe some smart person can figure it out

Probably technically implausible, as it will most likely require custom code of some sort.

Almost all of Sonic Shuffle's music is sequenced except for 6 videos which use 44.1 KHz ADX tracks with sound effects mixed in and the jingle that plays when the name of a board pops up (a.k.a title card) which is just a single 22050 Hz ADX inside a file called ADXVOICE.MDT. It appears to be stored in a series of uncompressed .mdt files as I was able to pull entire streams out with a hex editor for voice ADX files used in cutscenes. The music itself is a propataraty format, but easy enough to find the headers of.

P.S. Jun Senoue didn't do of any of the game's music and likely was done by people that worked for Hudson Software instead. Which is why you probably don't see any official releases of the music.

Thanks, no one needs to add anything anymore to this topic due to it as stated above, impossible. Also when i was talking about Jun, i meant replacing the Music of Shuffle with Some of Jun's songs to make it more enjoyable :)
