Dose any body remember, after you complete Launch Base Zone as anyone except Knuckles, and ther is Knuckles coming out of a secret passage that leads to a giant transparent ring? I know where it leads to, but :wtf: is it for? :wtf: :huh:

If you had all 7 chaos emeralds, it will activate the super emerald special stages, and sadly you can't go super again. As in a special scene will occur and youll see the emeralds float up and the super emeralds shoot down onto there respective area's and you will be able to quest for the super emralds. BTW it is THAT specific special ring that activates it, of course others may, not sure....

Yes. If you don't enter that ring eith all 7 chaos emeralds you won't be able to get the super emeralds.

The are the power helpers for the Master Emerald, then again, I my be wrong XD Someone is going to debunk me somehow XD

Note that you can actually go through the game as Super Sonic if you avoid going into Hidden Palace zone all along. But you won't reach The Doomsday Zone doing that. But I can get all 7 supers before the end of Mushroom Hill Act 2, so it doesn't bother me :D

You need to beat Death Egg Zone as Sonic (with or without Tails) with all 7 chaos and all 7 super emeralds. It's one of the first stages that started it all. Sonic3k, Sonic Pocket Adventure, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Adventure 2...What do these games have in common? All their final bosses are fought as Super Sonic (or Hyper in s3k's case) in outer space.
