Concerning nerdpower90s post... about HPZ and spinball....

about the Hidden Palace Zone tiles and Toxic caves tiles. Heh, I thought this was common knowledge. basically all they did was invert the main HPZ tile and used it as the Toxic Caves background.

the left one is sonic spinball the right is HPZ

Yeah, it does look very similar.
