I found three early Gamecube Sonic prototypes. The price tag is around 500 eur for all, I'm posting this because I don't have this kind of money right now and was wondering if anyone was interested. You'd need to make up your mind pretty soon (within 1-2 days).
They are on a one-of-a-kind NPDP cart (not an NR disc). NPDP carts are used during development, they are not press copies (unlike NR discs).
Sorry to pop in without any better news, but such is life.

Can these be dumped and used on retail consoles? Not much use to people if you need a cartridge console to play it.

I believe they can, the benefit of the NDPD carts were that they were rewritable and could be used to run on real hardware instead of blowing through tons of discs.

It would be Sonic Adventure DX though, not SA1. It would be interesting to see the early versions of the ports however, if they are early enough.
EDIT: Does that include Sonic Heroes?

What games are included?
This. I'm definitely interested, regardless.

Interested what games are on it as well. But since it's something from development, debuggggggggggggg. Also, since they're rewritable - can you use recovery software on the cart to maybe pull other data off from it that used to be on the cart?
I'm willing to donate FIFTY US DOLLARS to this cause.

I don't know much else besides what I already said. I can't ask much more until I have some interest.
As far as I know NPDP carts are just HDDs that are XORed with a 32-bit key. It should be relatively trivial to dump them. And yeah recovery software sounds interesting.

Yeah, sounds rather exciting.
As an aside, did anything more come from that possible Sonic 1 (8-bit) proto, drx?

Hey, can we go beyond "I'm interested" to "I'll throw money in"? I'll go $100 in, but let's see if we can get the money first, guys.
