So, thoughts? Crazy ass speculation/theories? Kind of weird they would use the name Robotnik again after so long, I thought SEGA made it abundantly clear by now they have their balls tightly squeezed around the Eggman name for the character.

EDIT: Going by the comments on that article someone discovered SEGA put out a survey awhile ago to vote on the names of future titles. One of them sounds similar to this mystery game; "Dr. Eggman: The World is not enough".

I am calling bullshit, for one the "Ole Days" game already exists in Black Knight... And I don't think they'd use Robotnik in this day and age in the title of a Sonic game.

An Eggman game could be cool though, and possibly it was mistaken with something else?

If SEGA was going to use the "Robotnik" term, I'd almost wager money we'd have seen it used in Sonic 4 first. Sooo...with that thought in mind it's pretty easy to tell that this is likely nothing to pay mind to.

A Robotnik/Eggman game could be cool I guess...but I really doubt that's what we're seeing, if anything.

Did any of the Sonic cartoons (AoSTH, Underground, etc.) have any episodes with a gauntlet as a central focus or something? There are other DVD collections, perhaps this could pertain to that...just throwing ideas out there.

Kinda sounds like going back to that srs bsns storylines that they're apparently worked so hard to stray from. Me, I woulda just called it 'Sonic: Legacy' and be done with it. :P
