Sonic Generations no-shaders mod Disabled all the full-screen shaders in entire game, it was 56 files (+56 arls). Haven't completed the game yet, so I don't have screens for all the zones.
All the shaders still display with that, other than in the title screen :c All it did was wipe my save data.
I heard you guys like textures. I also got something down for the GIA but I can't get it mapped ingame yet. But it is there loaded ingame since it's not all black. That was generated via vray on Max and a couple of maxscripts. It's just a bunch of Modulate maps added over the normal diffuse maps for each mesh, and mapped to a 2nd texture coordinate set. I'm trying to find if the game has an equivalent of that. EDIT: I just noticed it shows up flipped ingame. :v:
You're doing some awesome things with the game Dario, keep it up. Hopefully people will use this later on when you release this and make some (good) custom stages.
I wonder if anyone has removed the delay from jumping after spindashing. That thing really messes my time... Always. There I'm, spindashing ready to jump like a pro, and then Sonic doesn't get the horizontal speed of the spindash and just jumps straight up.
Yep, PC version. It happens to me all the time, it's annoying as hell. A few friends confirmed it happens to them as well. You gotta make a spindash and imediately after you let go the X (or Down) button and press Jump, Sonic ignores the spindash and just jumps vertically. I thought it could be a fps problem so I tried lowering the game to its lowests settings and still happened. Not sure why, tested with the keyboard and the Xbox controller, had the last update as well. Not sure why does it happens, just that it is annoying as fuck.
Can't believe it... And savedata stored in Sonic Generations\[username]_swarm, what it have to do with Sonic Generations\disk\ .cpk files?
Ah, I fixed it! I was opening it while Steam was still launching, so that was probably doing weird stuff to it. Everything's working great now, I love you forever <3
Now with added diffuse textures. I kinda found out the reason why my GIA isn't showing up so I hope to be able to crack that soon as well.

Dario, your getting great at this Generations hacking. When the eventual Retro wiki page is built about you, you will go down as a legend! "The man who broke Generations and rebuilt it anew" Right there with the other Retro Hall Of Famers. I've been seeing some great projects like Lobotomy's physics tweaking and JoeTE's supers mod but your stuff...just wow...
That's some great stuff right there Dario. The only problem with the more open levels is the camera though...correct me if I'm wrong, but Unleashed had some camera controls right? I really wish they hadn't removed them from Generations...
