1500 of each model (normal and light-up) so that'd be 3000 in total. They only made 1500 of this one as well.

Holy awsome that Supersonic is, umm AWSOME.

But jeez expensive, but also confusing, why would anyone buy the non-lightup one? its only $20 less, and if your spending $140 on a plain one, surely anyone can bite the money bullet for an extra 20

They never did with the original, I think. But there's a huge amount of other Sonic models models, so maybe we'll see some nice Super Sonic ones to join them. Nice ones, not those ugly and messy super poser ones.

I don't know about other places where it may be cheaper, but you can still get it at First 4 Firgure website. They're sold out in Aus, however.
