as I said before, I certainly don't mind hosting some of the protos.

I also have reliable hosting if needed.

I'll seed but I'm going to limit the upload speed to like 30kb/s or something because I need the space to upload the Protos on to my mirror (w00 sig).

I won't use the torrents because I really hate them, but as I said I'm going to set up a mirror for the Sonic protos (given that I'll manage to download them first, of course). I may also mirror some non-sonic stuff, not sure yet.

Has there been an estimated file size of the entire torrent(s?) yet? And has the tracker been decided too?

I can mirror as many files as I can from my hosting as well (incase anyone wants an idea of bandwidth, the page with that info is right here). I don't receive much traffic, so I should be in the clear if I just host MD roms. But who knows, I could probably host some of those ISOs too. :(

But I'll definitely seed the torrent all weekend, that's for sure.

I've got some hosting I could use to mirror anything not an ISO. And no, it's not the hosting I got on Hacking-CulT.

Here's an open suggestion to drx: add 3 or so protos at a time as regular downloads to hidden-palace every week on a day like Tuesday. Similar to what Nintendo does with Virtual Console releases. That way it's not done all at once (and those that want it all at once can just get the torrent).

Can't wait for Saturday to start downloading!

I think if the main sonic roms (Sonic 2, 3, S+K, Chaotix, Sonic 3D) are adequately mirrored most will be happy. I'm happy to get the other roms at a more leisurely pace later on.

What Sonic prototypes will be released?
...star/Chaotix, Sonic Blast, Sonic Ad...

Hmm... it's just Sonic Blast for GG or the Sonic 3D Blast?

For some reason I enjoy the E3 demo of S3D blast more than the final, so I'll probably love the prototype. How far back is it?

I'll be seeding this for a very long time once I've done and I've quite the connection.
I'm quite thrilled about this, in case you couldn't tell.

It would be pointless for me to host at Sonic Classic because it's the same server. LOLZ
