I've encountered a problem with sonicglvl - I can't seem to change the ResultPosition property of a goalring object. I have no idea why, but the program just won't accept any input for those values. It ignores my input completely and just uses the old values.

Also, I will there be an easy way of copy and pasting point3 values? I can't seem to find a copy/paste feature for them yet. Transferring xyz coordinates to notepad then to another object is tedious.

I also can't set the TargetObject value for ObjCamObjectLook. When I select the value, I don't even get an entry field.

Update: I tried 'fixing' some of the camera objects by changing their templates so that the target and targetobject fields used the 'id' type... bad idea, that broke everything. My cameras started pointing at all the wrong angles and now I have no idea how to get them fixed. Looking at the level file, the setobjectID's have been changed. I don't know why, but changing the template caused some of the setobjectID's to get mixed up. I reverted the template file to the SVN one and now I can't edit the values to fix them...

By the way, what text is used for the 3D names of the levels in the hub world? Is it Arial?

I am impressed with what I have seen from people in this thread and the mods that are being produced for Generations, it's allowed for a fresh take on Sonic hacking.
Looking forward to the entries to the Hacking Contest this year, even though I won't be able to play them myself due to my computer being unable to run the game.

I don't think the goal ring template is updated with vector3. There's no copy/paste feature. Just message me and we'll sort it out, perhaps you're just getting confused over how the vector3 stuff and the ids is used.

It's a custom font with beveling. I have some letters ripped if you're interested, but I couldn't find them all. So you'd have to make some of your own if you want new letters.
EDIT: Well I'm being stupid and I can't find the file with all the letters ripped. I'll let you know if I do.
EDIT2: Here you go. Not all letters are ripped. I think I forgot a B, but I didn't rip it because I didn't need it.

Thanks Dario. Does anyone know where can I find the sound that plays when you load into the Hub World or when you switch between Classic and Modern Sonic? I looked in all the Pam.ar** files and didn't find it.

I hate going back to something that we left a long time ago,
but when I'm trying to put the .anm.hkx files I make into the .ar.00 the game crashes.
Any ideas anyone?
EDIT: Nevermind, fixed.

Not sure how many of you care, but since it's my last post for trial, I'll leave a video with current progress of Blaze:

I replaced the running animation (Thank you BoomBoomFP) Please let me know your thoughts on it.

Oh hey, I just saw that on YouTube and commented on it a moment ago, but I'll repeat myself here.

The arms look a little bit stiff, but it's not a major issue and I can totally deal with it. The legs look a thousand times better now, the movement is a lot more fluid and realistic. The animation still isn't 100% perfect, but it's a lot better, to the point where I can deal with anything that's a little off.

One thing I want to ask (again, I already asked it in the comments for your video, but I'll ask again here) is whether or not there's a way of giving her fire immunity without the Flame Shield, and if that would be something you'd focus on.

EDIT: Looks like BandicootG is pending approval.

As stated above, the arms look a bit stiff, but it's getting there.

Oh and I must praise you for the fact that you made a simple hud edit and stopped there. I can't stand the character mods that try to make a new hud, only to replace it with something far worse that doesn't work with the game. So thank you for just changing the life icon and some colors. That's all that's necessary.

Yeah, I was really admiring that too, I just didn't think to say anything. This is what a HUD edit is supposed to look like: simple, and still flowing well with the rest of the screen.

I'm more interested in that little trail coming from her boost. How did you do that.

I think Sonic always has a boost trail anyway, most noticeable when he's Super. Megamaniscrazy's Shadow mod also has the highly visible boost trail like this.

Alright, I got Song replacement down. I've Replaced GreenHillZone (Genesis) with Stardust Speedway CashCash version, is there a way to edit the in game text to reflect that?

Not with any easily usable tools. DinnerSonic was working on a table and a utility to do conversion of the text, but then you'd have to find out the relevant parts to edit on Hex. Until the format for .fco is fully cracked and someone makes a fully-fledged tool to edit them, that's your only way.
