I was messing around the first water area of the game in the Sea Fox (Forget exactly what the level is called), and was spamming Spark because why not?

Then this happened!
As you can see, the entire screen stays white. To me it looks like somehow I fucked up the color palette for the level. It went away once I left the area and went back to normal though, and I couldn't re-enact the glitch again (I tried many times and couldn't do it).
Obviously, I was using Kega Fusion as it's pretty goddamned difficult to take a decent quality photo of a game gear game without emulation.
Is this something emulator specific, or does this happen in a physical version of Tails Adventure? And if so, how exactly does it occur? It didn't impede my ability to play the game, it's just really odd looking. I'm sure some of you hackers in Retro know more about this than I do (Also there was nothing in the wiki about anything like this in TA so yeah).
