.. hm, something sounds wrong in that nsf of toot toot sonic warrior, but I can't put my finger on it..

EDIT: Found it, the lead is a little off. Artistic license?

Well, I'm not sure if these may help any, but from what I see, you can get some here

    (I think I contributed, I don't know.)

Yup, this kind of thing is what I expected. Thanks you two.

EDIT: listened to the musics. Hey, couldn't you add looping? :/ The beginning of GHz is missing, and I guess that adding some drum intro at the beginning of the Toot Toot Sonic Warrior music would have been better. By the way, the latter is the one I like the most from the four :) Or did I miss a file?

EDIT 2: NES has five channels, huh? Internally, yeah, but from VirtuaNSF:
    • Internal
      • Square 1
      • Square 2
      • Saw (triangle)
      • Noise
      • DPCM
    • VRC6
      • Square 1
      • Square 2
      • Saw
    • VRC7
      • Channel 1 (dunno which kind)
      • Channel 2
      • Channel 3
      • Channel 4
      • Channel 5
      • Channel 6
    • FDS
      • Channel 1
    • MMC5
      • Square 1
      • Square 2
      • DAC
    • N106
      • Channel 1
      • Channel 2
      • Channel 3
      • Channel 4
      • Channel 5
      • Channel 6
      • Channel 7
      • Channel 8
    • FME7
      • Channel 1
      • Channel 2
      • Channel 3
    Total: 29 channels X_X

The first five channels are the only ones available on a normal NES, I believe.

  10. I don't mean to bump a needlessly old topic, but I really must put my two cents in.

1.) I'm very interested in the project, and I dearly hope you're still working on it.

2.) And everyone's done fantastic work with the nsf files. Fantastic work.

    Some NSF's I made:
    Green Hill Zone http://www.mediafire.com/?vmcjzhyzm55
    Spring Yard Zone http://www.mediafire.com/?nroyjmluzoo
    Star Light Zone http://www.mediafire.com/?d4w4yoql5f0
    Act Clear (Sonic 1) http://www.mediafire.com/?kzzzudujyqn
    Game Over (Sonic 1) http://www.mediafire.com/?zztjgywmwk2
Emerald Hill (Sonic 2, maybe you can use this for something) http://www.mediafire.com/?uttmky4y1nz
Except for Emerald Hill and Star Light Zone, There are NO DPCM samples in the NSF's because DPCM samples might take up too much space on the rom. I don't know how to properly loop the songs, does anyone know how to do that with Famitracker?

EDIT: This is my first post as a trial member.

  12. you, err, could have found a better place to post this

These NSF's were posted to (hopefully) help the music in this project. There were a few NSF's posted before mine, too (look at page 2 of the topic).
